"Just one more day..."
"Yes, one more day and then you are finished. No more turning of the screw." The Lass has an expander. Yesterday was the last turn, the last millimeter of expansion was secured. It will be locked in place on Monday.
She looked at me, a bit perplexed.
"No, one more day until ballet starts."
Ah, right. Silly me. Our lives are not complete without ballet so, now that it is starting again, we can all breathe a bit easier!
