Today the sky glittered blue with spring delight; sparkling in the sun’s joy and beauty. From the counter at the coffee shop, I peer out recognizing that it looks wonderfully warm though the reality is quite different as it is, just the first of March, and a chill lingers in the air.
I chat with the cashier, wish the barista a good day, take coffee in hand, and move through the door to start the day – this day – this 1st day of meteorological spring… This first day of March.
